The 1923 Opens Its Doors: A Ribbon Cutting, A Community, A Legacy

How a system-backed team launched a beautiful rental in 30 days—and what comes next

Quinn led the ribbon cutting, surrounded by his family—Cyndi, Branson, Bryson, Lindsay, Breanna, and his eighth-generation Suwannee granddaughters, Lulee and Vivian.

A Corner Comes to Life

On September 8, 2025, the quiet corner of Helvenston Street in Live Oak, Florida, came to life with the sound of scissors snipping ribbon, friends coming over, and neighbors swapping stories on the porch.

The 1923—our freshly restored short-term rental—is officially open to guests. But more than that, it's a house built on heart, process, and a whole lot of teamwork.

Quinn shares how this home is more than just a short-term rental—it’s a legacy in motion, as his sons Branson and Bryson look on with pride.

It Was Never Just About a House

This wasn’t a scramble. It was a strategy.

From day one, we had a roadmap: documented workflows, weekly scorecards, SOPs, and a clear chain of command. Every piece—from photography to furniture delivery—was planned, tracked, and tackled.

But here’s the real magic: behind every checklist was a person. Behind every to-do, a human who cared.

Meet the Team Behind The 1923

Quinn – The Vision

Quinn shaped the heart of this project from the beginning. He saw more than just a house—he saw a legacy. His vision made sure this space didn’t just get booked, but felt beautiful, intentional, and rooted in Suwannee County. Every decision tied back to that mission.

Cyndi – The Design

Quinn may have set the tone, but Cyndi brought it to life. With her confident eye and thoughtful curation, she styled each room to feel layered and welcoming—never overdone, always in balance. Her design decisions created the lived-in charm that defines The 1923.

Breanna – The Coordinator

Breanna kept the wheels turning—from vendor calls to checklists to coffee-fueled planning sessions. She brought structure and flow to the chaos, making sure no ball was dropped—even with a toddler in tow.

Len – The Systems Girl

Every template, checklist, and backend process had Len’s fingerprints on it. She streamlined the internal ops so the team could stay focused and aligned from start to finish.

Matt – The Rehab Guy

Matt led the full rehab—transforming The 1923 from a worn-out structure into a warm, functioning, and beautifully finished home. His craftsmanship is in every wall, fixture, and surface, laying the physical foundation for everything else to shine.

Bret – The Finisher

The stairs, the driveway, the small but essential touches that make a space feel done—those were Bret’s domain. His detail-oriented work brought it all together.

Quinn chats with Live Oak locals who came out to celebrate the ribbon cutting.

A Stay That Feels Like Home

The 1923 is now live on Airbnb and VRBO, and early guests are already walking through the door—just 30 days after kickoff. We’ve hosted festivalgoers, tech workers, and families exploring the nearby springs. Each stay is a chance to create a great memory—and every piece of the guest experience was designed to make that easy.

From a printed guide with local favorites to thoughtful touches throughout the home, every detail matters. It’s not just a house—it’s a welcome.

Quinn and Cyndi, proud lifelong Live Oak residents, stand ready to welcome you not just to their home—but to their hometown.

Legacy and Love for Suwannee County

More than just a property, The 1923 is a piece of Quinn and Cyndi’s legacy. This home reflects their shared love for Suwannee County—its people, its stories, and its future.

By opening this home to travelers, friends, and families for years to come, they’re not just hosting guests—they’re sharing a part of themselves. A place filled with meaning, designed with care, and rooted in the soil of a town that has shaped their lives.

It’s a place where legacy lives on—one stay at a time.

What Comes Next

The 1923 is open, and bookings are live. But this is just the beginning. We’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes of what worked, what we learned, and what’s coming next—because this project wasn’t just a win. It was a blueprint.
