There’s an energy that settles over Live Oak every fall when Hulaween comes to town.
Music fills the woods. Costumes get a little more creative. Friends roll in from across the country. And Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park transforms into a world all its own.
If you're coming to Suwannee Hulaween 2026 but aren't sure camping is your thing, we've got good news:
You can have the Hulaween experience—and still come home to a hot shower, cold AC, a real bed, and a quiet place to recharge.
We're Oak Revival & Co., and Live Oak is home.
Here’s how to make Hulaween an adventure without giving up the comforts you'll be very happy to see at the end of the night.
Hulaween 2026: The Basics
Suwannee Hulaween 2026 takes place October 22–25, 2026, at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.
For four days, the park fills with live music, immersive art, food, camping, and thousands of people coming together beneath the North Florida trees.
One of Hulaween's signature experiences is Spirit Lake, where music, light, art, and nature come together after dark.
Our advice?
Leave some room in your plans to wander.
Some of the best Hulaween moments are the ones you weren't looking for.
Do You Have to Camp at Hulaween?
No. Camping is a big part of the Hulaween experience, but you don't have to stay at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park to attend the festival.
You can stay off-site in Live Oak and travel to the festival each day, as long as you plan ahead for transportation and applicable day parking.
For some festivalgoers, camping beneath the trees is part of the magic. For others, there's something pretty wonderful about leaving the festival after hours of music, walking, dancing, and crowds and coming home to your own bathroom, air conditioning, a kitchen, a comfortable bed, and enough quiet to actually recharge.
If the second version sounds more like your kind of Hulaween, that's where we come in.
Where to Stay for Hulaween in Live Oak
At Oak Revival, we have two very different places to stay in Live Oak, and each one fits a different kind of Hulaween trip.
The question isn't which one is better. It's which one feels more like your weekend.
The Loft: A Quiet Retreat for Two
Festival energy out there. A little peace and quiet back here. Welcome to The Loft.
If you love the energy of Hulaween but don't necessarily want to sleep in the middle of it, The Loft gives you the best of both worlds.
Our cozy one-bedroom, one-bath cabin sits on more than 21 wooded acres in Live Oak, giving couples and solo travelers a quieter place to come home to after a full festival day.
You can spend the day surrounded by music and people, then come back, kick off your shoes, take a real shower, turn down the noise, and settle in for the night. The next morning, there's time for coffee and a slower start before heading back out for another day.
The Loft is especially well suited for couples, solo travelers, and guests who want their Hulaween weekend to include a little privacy and breathing room.

The 1923: A Home Base for the Whole Crew
Slow mornings start here. Gather on the porch, sip your coffee, and recharge before another Hulaween adventure.
Hulaween is the kind of weekend that's often better with friends, and The 1923 gives everyone somewhere to experience more of the trip together.
Our historic five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home in Live Oak gives groups room to stay under one roof instead of splitting up between separate hotel rooms. You can make breakfast together, get ready for the festival, head out for the day, and come back to the same place when the night is over.
And those in-between moments matter. Sometimes the stories shared around the kitchen the next morning become just as memorable as whatever happened in front of the stage the night before.
The 1923 is a natural fit for groups of friends and Hulaween crews who want shared space, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and one comfortable home base for the weekend.

Camping or Staying Off-Site: Which Experience Fits You?
There isn't a right or wrong way to do Hulaween. If sleeping beneath the trees and staying immersed in the festival atmosphere around the clock is part of the adventure you're looking for, camping may be exactly right.
But if you know you'll appreciate some separation at the end of the day, staying in Live Oak gives you another option. You still get the music, art, people, late nights, and everything you came to experience, with the added comfort of having somewhere quieter to return to afterward.
That's really the difference. You're not choosing between Hulaween and comfort. You're deciding what you want your whole weekend to feel like.
Let Live Oak Be Part of the Weekend
Hulaween may be what brings you to Live Oak, but we hope it isn't the only part of the trip you remember.
Give yourself permission to have a slow morning before heading back to the festival. Drink your coffee outside, laugh about whatever happened the night before, scroll through the photos you don't quite remember taking, and let everyone recharge before doing it all again.
That's why we don't think of The Loft and The 1923 as simply places to sleep. They're the space between the adventures—the kitchen everyone gathers in the next morning, the quiet after a very loud day, and the comfortable place waiting when your feet are tired and your camera roll is full.
Hulaween may bring you here, but we'd love for Live Oak to become part of the story you take home.
Find Your Hulaween Home Base
Hulaween only comes around once a year, so make the weekend yours. Come for the music, wander through the art, stay out later than you planned, and make the kind of stories you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home.
When you're ready to trade the festival energy for a little comfort and quiet, we'll have a place waiting.
Coming as a couple or traveling solo? Make The Loft your quiet retreat between festival days.
